Grandparents and Grandfriends Day is celebrated in September. The children serenade their loved ones with an original song they create in the first week of school.  Grandparents and friends learn about our school, visit classrooms and share activities before the day is done.

The blessing of the animals on the the Feast of Saint Francis of Assisi is one of our favorite traditions. We love our pets and in return we get to experience bits of God’s unconditional love for us. We celebrate this day with people all over the world.

National Catholic Schools week always starts on the last Sunday in January. We let our school spirit shine during this week with many fun events.Mass with the bishop is a special event. The week usually ends with the parish Family Fun Night.  We love that the Knights of Columbus, Catholic Daughters, Scouts, and children’s choir all join in this official American celebration of Catholic Education. This year we even had cocoa with local celebrity Bob Shaw.

The School Auction is an adults only event but it is the most important event of the year. Every family contributes many hours to this one night. Every student contributes to a classroom project that is auctioned off. It’s our biggest fundraiser of the year. This gala event is exactly what keeps Saint Francis the most affordable Faith based school in town.  Thank you to our wonderful sponsors and donors, we couldn’t succeed without you.
